Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Tech911 LLC (“Tech911”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit tech911.co (the “Site”) or use our technology support and related services (the “Services”). By using the Site or the Services, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you contact us by email or phone, request support, schedule a service, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, and the details of your request. The website itself does not use contact forms, quote forms, or sign-up forms. When you purchase a Service, you also provide billing information. Payment card details are processed by our payment processor and are not stored in full by Tech911.

Information collected while providing Services

To deliver support, we may access and collect device, system, and network information; configuration details and system, application, and error logs; diagnostic and performance data; and, where necessary to perform the work, files and account information on the systems we are servicing. Remote support sessions may be recorded for quality, training, and security purposes.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our servers and our security software (Wordfence) log technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the referring page, and the date and time of your visit. We and our analytics and advertising partners also use cookies and similar technologies, described in the next section.

2. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising, including the following services:

  • Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) helps us understand how visitors find and use the Site. It sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, and interactions. You can opt out using Google’s browser add-on.
  • Google advertising tags and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel (through PixelYourSite) let us measure advertising performance and show relevant ads to past visitors on Google and Meta platforms. These set cookies and share certain event data, such as the pages you visit, with Google and Meta.

These third parties process the data they receive under their own privacy policies. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings and through any cookie controls we make available on the Site.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Site and Services; to respond to your inquiries and provide support; to schedule and perform services; to process payments; to communicate with you, including service messages and, where you have consented or as otherwise permitted, marketing and newsletters; to measure and improve our marketing; to maintain the security of our Site and Services and prevent fraud; and to comply with our legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with: service providers and processors that work on our behalf, such as hosting, payment processing, analytics, advertising, and email providers (including Google and Meta); other parties when you direct us to; professional advisors; and authorities when required by law or to protect rights, property, safety, or security. We may also transfer information to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Please note that the advertising cookies and pixels described above may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” of personal information under some U.S. state privacy laws; see “Your choices and rights” below for how to opt out.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain business and accounting records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it. Support session recordings and diagnostic logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and the Wordfence security service, to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each message, adjust your browser and cookie settings, and opt out of Google Analytics and of personalized advertising through Google’s and Meta’s ad settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of targeted advertising or of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act or, for visitors in the EU or UK, the General Data Protection Regulation. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify your identity before responding.

8. International visitors

We are based in the United States and process information there. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

9. Children’s privacy

The Site and Services are intended for businesses and for adults, and are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Links to other sites

The Site may link to third-party websites and social media profiles. Their privacy practices are their own, and this Policy does not cover them. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site you visit.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent version, and material changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site or Services after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
