The talented teenager’s latest victory left her emotional, as she expressed her gratitude for the support she felt from the crowd. “That’s the first time I really vividly heard the crowd during my race,” McIntosh shared. “It’s amazing to have all my family and friends in the stands, cheering me on. Not a stranger to competitive swimming, McIntosh had made her Olympic debut at the age of 14 during Tokyo 2020, where she finished fourth in the 200-meter freestyle.
